Cool Star Search!

Star Search is coming back to CBS. I wonder if Ed McMahon is still gonna be the host. I used to love it back then, but who knows.... Theyll probably screw it all up and itll suck. Anyways, anyone gonna watch it?

Maybe Star Search will showcase classic talent, unlike the newfound cult favorite American Idol. Not EVERYONE wants to be a POP star. There *are* talented people in the world who don't sing through their noses, with airy, nodule filled voices. *sigh* I hate Simon. That show is one of my biggest pet peeves.

Anyhow... Star Search always catered to a diversity of talents, much like Caroline Rhea's mini-talent competition, "Now That's Talent." I think that's worth watching, unless they try to take it the American Idol route.

LOl. I liked Simon!! He was rude @ times, but he was only helping to prepare them. But, if I were one of them..I wouldve been bawling my eyes out!

I like some of Simon's comments, but the thing is I bet a bunch of musicians are pissed off about that whole deal. You look at musicians like Mariah Carey, Madonna etc and they had to work their butt off in order to get where they are. While a person could go on American Idol and almost get a contract handed to you. I know you have to compete on AI, but all these other musicians prob. had doors slammed in their faces before they got a record deal.

Actually, I read somewhere that the host is going to be Arsenio Hall.
