Here is what I complied a list of shows that kept the same theme song (vocally or instrumentally) through their run:
Let's see if you can name some more. Have fun!!!!!

How about 'The Andy Griffith Show'? They always had the whistling theme. My Favorite Martian is another. Gomer Pyle U.S.M.C is another. It's been so long since I've seen Gomer, but I think it belongs on the list. Diff'rent Strokes might be one. It had the same theme, but they arranged it differently during that last season. They made it sound more electronic sounding.

A similar situation happened to the theme song of The Brady Bunch. During the first season or two it was sung by the Peppermint Trolley Singers, but then it was sung by the kids. |

The first season of "Family Matters", the theme song was 'What a Wonderful World'.

I guess this all depends on what you define as a change in the theme. If you mean keeping the same basic melody, then there are a lot of shows that fall into this category. But if you count different musical arrangements as changing the theme, then some shows previously mentioned don't qualify (because of the various changes in arrangements), such as:
That 70s Show (different vocalists in the first season) Too Close for Comfort (several noticeably different instrumentations) Laverne & Shirley (very subtle instrumental changes, but the same vocal track was always used) Mad About You (Anita Baker sang a later version that was used on air) The Waltons (multiple instrumentations) Cheers (subtle differences between theme used during the first three seasons and the one thereafter) |

The Friends theme has never really changed. I think it may have been shortened but its still the same song.

I agree with the Brady Bunch. Same song.. just different singers. What about Threes Company? |

Hogan's Heroes never changed.
The Monkees didn't either, though the end theme changed. |
