Hi, my Freddie family. I may be scarce on the board the next few days. I know many of you like the annoniminity of the internet, that's why you feel at home here, so my great adventure might not hit you the same way it is hitting me, but I wanted to share with you that I'm getting to live out a dream. Ever since I have been frequenting these boards and talking to some of you online and through e-mail, I have felt that I touch a little part of who Freddie was with each post and conversation. I am a very social person by nature and it has been my dream to take this contact one step further and actually get to meet at least one of you in person. I'm starting that dream today and will need your prayers, as I am driving 6 hours by myself to meet a fellow Freddie fan. We have lots of good times planned for our short 48 hours together, but meeting her will be like meeting at least a part of Freddie for me. I don't know if any of you understand this, but I wanted to share my excitement with you. Please pray for mariposa, as she and her family have so graciously agreed to this visit. She'll need them, meeting me in person! LOL

And pray for my family, especially my hubby, who may not understand all of this, but have been so supportive. I know hubby, at least, is as nervous as I am about my trip. See you all on Thursday!

I might be getting the chance to meet one of our happy tribe this coming Christmas...I'm trying to talk Esmerelda into coming out to sunny California for the holidays. And one of these days I'd like to get together with Macca. Of course, I would like to see all of us get together for a huge Chico-gathering. I think that would be a hoot.

I was more worried about Luckymama driving for such a distance...car trouble, flat tire...etc. One can never be too safe when travelling alone. Nothing personal, Mariposa.
