Default Blaxploitation Movies

Does anybody else out there like these type of movies? I've got a thing for Pam Grier, so I love them.

My Favorites are:
Coffy
Foxy Brown
Superfly
The Mack
Shaft

Are u white or black? I love Pam Grier. I saw Coffy & Foxy Brown. I never saw Superfly. I saw bits & pieces of The Mack & Shaft. Have u seen any of the old Dolemite movies with Rudy Ray Moore? Have u seen the old Bill Cosby & Sidney Poitier movies together like A Piece Of The Action, Let's Do It Again, Uptown Saturday Night? I like A Piece Of The Action & Let's Do It Again.

I'm white/Hispanic. I've only seen bits and pieces of A Piece of the Action. Superfly was very good, I recommend you check it out.

Didn't Cooley High spawn off the sitcom What's Happening?

I don't think it did but anyway u should also check out a spoof of the 70's movies which was done by Keenan Ivory Wayans in his movie I'm Gonna Git You Sucka. Antonio Fargas who played Huggy Bear on Starsky & Hutch was in that & so was r&b soul singer Issac Hayes, ex NFL player Jim Brown, Bernie Casey, Keenan's brother Damon & his sister Kim, Dawnn Lewis who played Jaleesa on A Different World tv show, Janet Dubois who played on Good Times tv show as Wilona, Kadeem Hardison, Chris Rock had a tiny part & his part was very funny.

Did u see Fred Williamson's Black Caesar movie? I've seen the majority of it but i didn't understand the ending part where Fred gets shot & he's limping through the projects of Harlem in New York & these kids beat him with baseball bats at the end & they rob him & then the movie goes off. They don't show whether they killed him or not, the ending left me hangin. Him & ex NFL player Jim Brown did a lot of movies together in the 70's.

Whatver you do DON'T rent Original Gangsters. It starred all of the former blaxploitation stars of the 70's including Fred Williamson, Jim Brown, Pam Grier and Richard Roundtree. It was horrible.

Richard Roundtree plays on the soap opera Guiding Light now. Did u see Pam Grier in the horrible movies Ghosts Of Mars with Natasha Henstridge & Ice Cube & Bones with Snoop Dogg? She was also in Eddie Murphy's horrible movie The Adventures Of Pluto Nash this past summer. I think Pam needs to stop picking bad scripts & just retire from acting. Jackie Brown was her last good flick. I forgot all about the 70's movie Car Wash, that's a classic with Bill Duke, Antonio Fargas who played Huggybear on Starsky & Hutch, Richard Pryor had a small part with the r&b group The Pointer Sisters. Have u seen Car Wash? Dr Dre & Snoop Dogg did a remake of it with their movie The Wash 2 yrs ago.

Brian Damage Pam Grier's Coffy movie was on tonight on BET. I love this movie. Pam was tough in this movie kicking butt & shooting those bad guys. She had the big afro hahahahahahaha. She was so cute & sexy back then even with a afro. I like that song they play at the end of the movie when she's walking on the beach & the credits are rolling.
