How come Ward and June always let Eddie into their house? I think they should realize what a troublemaker he is. Same with Lumpy. They should not forgive him for blaming Beaver about his watch.

Yeah you would think that they would have forbidden Wally to hang around with Eddie right from the start. Eddie was always getting him or Beaver into trouble. But if they would have done that the show would not have been nearly as good. Eddie was an important character.

Thats the second time Ive read here that Eddie is always getting Wally into trouble and I don't know why people think so. Its the other way around. Wally is so good for Eddie. I can't think of Wally doing bad things because of Eddie but Eddie needs Wally. Eddie knows Wally is a real friend whose going to stick by him no matter what. Watch the credit card episode or the episode where Eddie drops out of school. On the credit card episode Eddie is terrified that June and Ward are going to stop him from seeing Wally. He is also upset because nobody believes that the only reason he wants to keep Wally's friendship is because it is important to him. If they were going to stop a friendship it should be Beavers with Gilbert or Larry. They are bad influences and they don't really care if they are friends or not. Trusting that Wally will make the right decsions is a good move on Ward and Junes part. It is also important because without Wally Eddie would not have a chance and it would be a really cruel thing to do if they took Wally away from Eddie. I don't like Ward but this time he is right.
