Default Morris Chestnut, Patti Labelle, Duane Martin, Vivica Fox's Out All Night

Ya'll remember this show? It came on the NBC network i think in the early 90's. Patti Labelle was the owner of a club & Vivica Fox was her daughter. Morris Chestnut was trying to get hired to work for Patti at the club & she hired him. I forgot what Duane Martin's character was on the show. Vivica was looking good back then on this show. Duane was always trying to holler at her. How long did this show last? I remember Marky Mark aka Mark Wahlberg did a performance on this show & i think Bobby Brown did a performance on here. Who else performed on this show?

Duane Martin & Vivica Fox also played on a short lived tv show together in 98 called Getting Personal. This show sucked & i forgot what it was about.

It ran from September 1992 to January 2nd 1993.
Here is the cast:

Cast (in alphabetical order)
Charles Brown (II)
Rachael Crawford .... Danielle
Peewee Love .... Ramdall Freeman
Brenda Pressley.... Ms. St. Marth(Pilot Episode)
S. Epatha Merkerson .... Ms. St. Marth
Daryl Mitchell .... T
Jessica Stone .... Amy
Malcolm-Jamal Warner .... Alexander 'A.J.' James
Shaun Weiss .... William
Mos Def.... Kalila's Boyfriend
Kalila.... Essence Atkins

Overall I could call this a Cosby Spinoff with Theo using a new first and last name since this started directly after Cosby left the airwaves. AJ was a counsleor at a local inner city youth center in Manhattan. He lived with his uncle and had a crush on his cousin Danielle whom he was related to by marriage but his uncle would kill him if he tried to mess with his daughter Danielle. His Best Friend was "T". Amy was a southern white colleague of AJ's at the center. Ms St. Marth ran the center. Randall, William, Tanya along with other kids were regulars at the center. Kalilia was the teenager that had a crush on AJ when she was first introduced.

Rapper Mos Def & Essence Atkins was on that show? I don't remember nothin about that show. I don't think i ever saw it. Essence Atkins is fine but her tv shows never last long like Smart Guy, Under One Roof & i know Half & Half isn't gonna last long. She played in that wack movie How High with Method Man & Redman. I think she's gonna be in the new movie Deliver Us From Eva with LL Cool J & Gabrielle Union.
