So how many actual versions were used of the shows theme?...

This is what I know, There was a pilot version (same as syndicated seasons 1-2), the priginal long version, there are 3 ending songs for the first 2 seasons, the 2nd long version (seasons 3-4) and the 2nd short version (3-4) an ending song for season three where nancy gets her boobjob. The Season 5 versions with a short, long, and ending version. Season 6 the same way as Seaon five with a different tone, Season 7-8 Short Version, Season 9 version. Hope this helps
