What's bugging Luka? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I personally think Luka might be going through some mental illness, maybe depression or something. He survived a horrible war that killed his family. He was dumped by both Carol and Abby. The smallpox scare and watching Romano getting his arm ripped off probably brought back horrible memories from the war. I don't blame him for acting out lately and I hope he gets help. I love luka. I hope the writers don't kill him off or anything.

i never related the romano thing to the war. i feel bad for him. but, i don't think he should leave. he should get some help. that would be interesting.

War...... refresh my memory? I remember Carol and Abby dumping him, but...war? I never really payed attention to him much.

Luka lived during the war in Croatia. His family, including his wife and children, were all killed.

Yea and he went to the store or something and wouldn't let the kids come with him and when he was gone their house got bombed or hit by a plane or something.

Oic...I don't even remember that and I've been watching the show since like the 2nd or 3rd season.....oh well

lol the only reason i remember that is because that episode when he tells Carol about it was on like 2 weeks ago on a sunday and my mom made me watch it.

....and, when he came back I guess both his wife and daughter were still alive and he had to choose which one to save because he couldn't save them both, and then they both ended up dead anyway. At least I think that's basically the full "war" story.

I hope Luka doesn't leave either.
