I didn't watch it, but my husband did and loved it. At 20 hours, a bit too long for me. Steven Spielberg is a talented man.

Somehow I found the time to watch it all. I thought it was really good also.

I'm new on the board - it looks like you like the Supranos. I thought the last episode was really good. My husband and I turned it to junkies this year.

Welcome! I'm a huge Sopranos fan. I've seen every episode. I'm glad you're enjoying it. Some of the past seasons are available on DVD and VHS if you're interested.
We sort of created our own message board. It's listed under the drama section.
Here's the link.

I looked in on it a few times but I got cold feet. I didn't want to get sucked in to the committment. Twenty hours spread out over several nights seemed like it would have been like a sudden and dedicated relationship. I knew that if I'd watched it the first night I'd have been gambling on getting myself wrapped up in it. I'm sure it was good though.

I caught the first episode, it was good.
I really wanted to watch the whole thing, but like you said Janice, 20 hours is a bit daunting.

I'm sorry, but this show should not be classified as a "mini series."
You're two hours short of the usual amount of episodes a prime time drama cranks out in one season. There's nothing mini about that!

Still, I hope to catch all of it eventually, judging by the amount of times Sci Fi is rerunning the episodes, it looks like it will become a permanent fixture in thier lineup.

Haha.. you almost forgot the day it was gonna air.

The miniseries was pretty good. SOme parts were confusing, but in the end, everything ties together.

BTW, did anyone make note of the last few phrases of the finale? I want to use a quote for my global essay.

I don't see how anyone could like it... It was really boring. It had many hours of nothing. But, hey? What can u expect from a guy who made A.I.?? The only thing that was good at all was the little girls acting. she acted better than some of the adults. That's something Steven Spielberg can do, pick out good acting little blonde girls. First Drew, now this girl...

How many episodes and which did you see to make that judgment? 'Cause I have to agree that the beginning of the series was pretty slooow. But aren't all series like that?

It gets better towards eppie 3-10.
