Default Christmas Episode

Ray going to all the trouble he did for his mother's Christmas gift, and then willing to get Debra a heater, was very telling. This guy is such a mama's boy!! Also, what does it say about Robert, who has memorized everything Debra ever said? Until this episode, I didn't realize how much Robert likes Debra.

There was an episode earlier on where Robert told Debra she was the perfect wife. I think in some way Robert may compare his girlfriends to Debra.

Amy seems like the best girlfriend Robert ever had, I think Debra introduced them.

I thought the show was very funny but I think Robert was a major A-hole for telling Debra that buying the book was his idea and making Raymond look like a piece-o-crap in front of her. Glad to see Raymond got him back when he mentioned the Ice Capades tickets. I know it's a comedy but Robert should be helping his brother, not making him look like a fool. Just my opinion.

I can see why Robert would do that though, if I were him I might do the same thing. Raymond is always getting the credit for everything and Robert is treated very poorly by his parents and others. In the case if both brothers were treated fairly all the time then Robert should not have told Debra.

Cool

I don't think Robert should have acted like that. He should know by now that Ray is a spoiled baby who is not happy unless he is center of attention. Ray should have told Debra that Robert gave him the idea.

Of course, if that had happened, then it wouldn't have been funny.

Default I disagree

I actually disagree with what Robert did. I mean, yeah in most instances Raymond is "glory hogger", but it's a gift for his wife. He deserves the glory on this one. Plus, when Robert suggested buying Debra the book, he should have known Raymond would take all the credit for it.

Thumbs up

Yep, Yep, I agree. I find Robert very funny but sometimes he's a big freakin' baby.

Raymond is a baby all the time so I have grown to accept it.

Was that the episode when her eyes had gone bad?

I think Robert is pretty cute. He's definitely better-looking than Ray and Frank. Better personality too.

Well, at the RayRomano.com message board, Ray has women groupies, including me.
