Thumbs down Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Who here has Carpal Tunnel Syndrome? You know the keyboard hand numbing. I have it and it's really driving me crazy. My hand constantly goes numb when I sleep and drive. I think it's getting worse. I hope I won't need surgery.

I got it because I use to work as a Data entry operator.

I don't, but I'm sure I will get it, being in a computer-related field and all.

Well, my wrists and knuckles do creak everytime I move them so maybe I have it. I think my mom has it in her thumb.

Okay I must question you Ags2000... LOL.......... How long is the scar? Did you stay in the hospital? How long did it take to heal?

The scar is about 3/4 an inch.

No I did not stay in the hospital, THAT surgery was a day surgery.

As far as it healing, umm...I had a splint on it for several months prior to the surgery because I was waiting till school ended to have my surgery. I had a little splint on for about a month I guess after the surgery, no big deal. It's all good now.

I think I had it or something like it. 3 summers ago my wrist was killing me, it wouldn't hurt when I bent it but when I turned it from side to side. I wore a splint for 3 days and then I was fine.
