Okay...Does the earth revolve around the sun, or does the sun revolve around it?

That's true. Also, the more distance away the planets are from the sun the more long it takes them to rotate around the sun.

The earth revolves around the sun. And, if you are trying to refer to Joshua 10:13 where the sun stood still. I think you need to go back and re-read the story. It never says that the sun revolves around the earth. It says that God made the sun stay in the sky longer. So, your attempt at more religious controvery isn't working out too well.

Just thought I'd let you know, this controversy raged on against Galileo and Copernicus for centuries because the Church was convinced that the sun revolved around the earth, according to what they believed the Bible to say. Martin Luther even condemned Copernicus. Galileo was placed under house arrest and forced to recant his findings, and it was only ten years ago the Catholic Church pardoned him.

Actually, the belief was that the earth was the center of the universe, and the sun revolved around it.
