Martina McBride
The Dixie Chicks
Shania Twain
Faith Hill
LeeAnn Womack (sp)

I'm sure there are a few more.

I like country. I like the ones you listed, my favorite being the Dixie Chicks. By the way, they are having some kind of Dixie Chicks special this week. I think it comes on Tuesday on NBC. Check your tv guides to make sure though.

True True but what I was getting at was the Fact that we have 3 country stations and only ONE Pop station and the Pop the play is that teeny bopper stuff I CAN NOT stand so its like I'm sort of forced to listen to country hehe its a good thing I like it

That's exactly how I got turned onto country is because the pop music they were playing just didn't suit me.

I don't like country. The only "country" artist I can listen to without gaggin is Shania Twain.

Avril used to sing country before she was signed her stuff was awesome!!! Some country music I like actually, my dad used to play Randy Travis in the car so I started downloading his stuff on Kazaa... lol. Some Dixie Chicks songs I like and Leann Rimes old stuff.
