Does anyone think that it would still be on if Phil didn't die?
I think it would. |

I think it would too, it was such a good show..I bet NBC would kill to have it the way it was (pre-John Lovitz seasons), since it seems they don't really have any solid comedies on Tuesdays.

I don't think it would be. As much as I love the show, NBC didn't seem to. It might have made a sixth season, but I doubt it would still exsist this season.

I don't think NewsRadio would still be on. Like TV Adam said, NBC didn't seem to like the show very much. They didn't seem to like Wings either. I'm surprised both shows lasted as long as they did. Personally, I thought they were two of NBC's finest sitcoms from the past decade.

I think it still would have ended in 1999. NBC would have their nearly 100 episodes for syndication. But of course, it would have been better if Phil hadn't been killed and could've continued with the show until the end.

You guys are right.
Newsradio was struggling before Phil Hartman's untimely death; it seems unlikely it would have lasted. At the risk of sounding harsh I think they allowed them to continue with Jon Lovitz out of pity for the folks behind the show. |

So then who should we, the fans be more upset with? NBC or Mrs. Hartman?
