Post A link to what Freddie might look like today.....

OK, guys, I promised to draw a picture of Freddie the way he might appear today. I got that done easily enough, but have been struggling with getting it up on the board. I don't know if this will work or not....Click on the link below and it should come up.

It was hard to picture Freddie as a 46 year old. I printed off a picture of him to go by, closed my eyes and imagined what he might look like now.

Alas, the long, bushy hair of the 70's is out of style so I gave Freddie a haircut. I put some silver streaks in his hair and gave him some crows-feet around the eyes--you know, from all the laughing and smiling he would have done.

It's not profesional, just my interpretation of what our Sweet Prinze might look like today...

(PS) For some inexplicable reason, when it scanned, the pic turned out THREE TIMES AS BIG AS THE ORIGINAL DRAWING-IT'S HUGE! I don't know how to re-size the picture-can anyone help?

Scroll down a little and the pic should show...like I said, it came out way bigger than I wanted and I'm trying to find a way to resize to get it to fit the screen....

Hello Karen64. I could not bring up the picture either. But I thank you in advance for all of your hard and diligent work. I was thinking, maybe the reason the picture came out larger than you intended, is it is Freddie's way of telling you that he likes your drawing and that you have him...

Karen, that is a very beautiful picture. You are an excellent artist, girl. If you have Adobe Photoshop you should be able to size it down. I'm going to try cause I want a copy for my Freddie scrapbook! Thank you for your hard work!
BTW you have to move the scroll bars all the way to the bottom right hand corner to see the image. I was able to resize it on Photoshop and printed it out. It's even more beautiful in my hands! One question? When you scanned it was in the corner of the page like that or did the scanner do that? If you crop the image to just the drawing and scan it again it might make it smaller. I tried to crop the extra top and right border, but was unsuscessful. I got the picture large enough for my scrapbook page, anyway. It truly is an awesome picture. It may inspire me to write another story. Mmmm maybe a sequel to "Salvation?" never know!

Thank you, everyone! I love to draw people!

Luckymama: My sis did the scanning at her house since I don't have one (a scanner, that is) and she doesn't know what the problem could be (she's scanned pics before to put up on ebay and such and they've turned out fine) We'll work some on the resizing-thanks for the tips!

Karen,
I still can't see it. I have tried about 4 times and nothing shows on my screen. I scrolled down and sideways and still can't see it. I have AOL. Maybe you can mail it to me. LOL! I am so anxious to see your artwork.

Karen64,
WOW WOW WOW!!!!
that is some triffic picture. What an artist It's too bad you couldn't get this picture of Freddie to DeDe so she could see that his family go it if she sees them. I'm sure it would bring tears of joy to his dear Mothers face to see it.
Here's another thought, maybe you could illustrate for some of the talented writers here on the board, what do ya think?

Karen, love the picture! Looks like Freddie would have if he had gotten himself straightened out--happy and healthy and young for his age! And I agree it would be wonderful if you illustrated the stories on Starshine's website (and not just because I am one of the writers, either)!
