I discovered the show about a year and a half ago and couldn't figure out what the hell I was watching. Half of it in English and half in Spanish. It was funny enough that it held my interest, even when I couldn't understand what they were saying (the non-English speaking grandmother was rioutous!). Unfortunately, I didn't tape them and ended up moving shortly after that. They were airing it on a Spanish network, which I believe is called "UniVision" (or "Uni-something") on Sunday afternoons. Unfortunately I don't have that network on my current cable system. Don't know if they're still airing them or not.

"Que Pasa USA" still airs on Galavision, and some spanish-independents. Galavision is available almost anywhere with cable/satellite.

I saw it once but it's too confusing being in Spanish and English.

Boy do I remember watching that show on PBS. Even though it was half in English and half in Spanish, I thought the show was extremely funny and very enjoyable. I loved the grandparents, especially the grandmother. I remember many an episode of this show where I laughed so much I cried.
I remember one episode where the grandparents discovered a joint belonging to the eldest son and ended up smoking it and getting stoned. It was superb. A great show. Yeah, it would be great to see it again.

I'm a lover of this show, btw.
I found out today the entire 39-episodes are all released on a five-disc DVD box set for about $99.95 on their official site: http://www.quepasausa.org/ Too pricey for me, but I'll search around for other sites. If I find anything, I'll update you all. ![]() Check out images, five movie downloads, etc... |
