Today I saw a 2 part episode with Deborah Allen (Debbie Allen). It was really good! She played J J's girlfriend and he wanted to marry her but, he didn't know that she was a junkie. I enjoyed this episode alot! She acted good in her role.......

I remember this episode as a kid. She scared the crap out of me when she was wrapping that band around her arm. When I saw the episode again a few months back, it brought it all back. If it had that effect on me, production did their job.

Me too Thomas. When I first saw this episode as child in syndication she scared me also. I was like-"what the hell is she about to do?

That was the beauty of Good Times, it had plenty of powerful episodes like that.

That's what I like about Good Times. They weren't funny all the time. They had powerful dramatic episodes too.
