Default Lizzie McGuire Canned

Disney has canned Lizzie McGuire because she is getting too old for there demogrpahic and she has reached the "Disney 65 Show Limit". They rushed production so Lizzie, who is portrayed by Hillary Duff (age 15), wouldnt out grow the look too much. Disney is thinking of re tooling the show and making it into a primetime series following her through high school (mos likely to air on ABC).

That might work.If it's on ABC then it'll be able to takle harder subjects like sex and drugs. It could also garner a TV-PG rating and Hilary can be taken as a serious actress not just a child star.

Talking Well its the first time I would turn on ABC

If they did do that, that would be awesome I know it would be the first time i turn on ABC, I am not even sure what channel ABC is anymore, Was TGIF on ABC? Thats the last time I recall even hearing anything about ABC, but if Lizzie was moved to ABC I would watch ABC for sure.

Isn't ABC also considering to bring back TGIF?

If they are... they will promote the new "Lizzie McGuire," and TGIF like crazy!

Ah thats soo cool! Im hoping ABC picks it up, because Lizzie is a very popular show! Or, if anything.. maybe ABCFamily? Thatd be cool too. Id love to see it on TGIF though. The WB is my TGIF now ever since Sabrina switched over..

Talking New and Opinionated

Hello everyone, I'm new here...if you go on TVtome.com, I'm the same crazed hooligan few people listen to Anyways, just wanted to say hi and express my sadness for Lizzie being cannned. But you know, if it goes on during high school, I'm afraid this might turn out really bad. I'm afriad w/ high school, they'll lose thier sense of humor or something like that. It may sound like the BEST idea, but look at Saved by the Bell, in the college years, it was prime time and got canceled within a half a season or so.....(anybody remember how long it took?) I just don't want the same fate pasted upon Lizzie
