I have seen a couple of Coach episode guides on the net and I don't think either of them is completely accurate. They both list Don't Get Mad, Get Cooley (#58) as an episode which aired later in the series (actually right before Hayden and co. are offered the pro job in Orlando). NickatNite aired it during the third season which is where I believe the show fits in. There are enough scenes in the episode which show that it takes place earlier in the series. The prime one being that Christine is still doing the news on Channel 6. Later in the series, she is more like a Kathie Lee to another man's Regis character on a morning show.
And the episode where Luther's secret love for Christine is accidentally revealed when Hayden drops Luth's death box is unlisted in both guides. Either that or I can't seem to find it. This is nitpicky stuff I guess, but I would like to find a complete Coach episode guide which is for the most part, pretty accurate. Does anybody know of one? |

I had noticed the inaccuracy of the episode guides too. This show has been my absolute fav for so many years, and I was so horrified when they took it off the tbs lineup. Then when I saw commercials for it comming to N@N, I was so excited, who knew that they can't seem to keep a regular schedule or air the last 3 seasons. At least tbs was dependable. Anyway... I have been recording for a few years now, trying to figure out the whole episode guide thing.
According to the nick-at-nite sight, they say that the episode where Luther is in love with Christine is named 'Love me tender', which makes sense to me. However, all the other episode guides that I have found never have this episode on their list, and name the pilot 'love me tender'. As for 'dont get mad, get cooley', that one is really strange where they decided to put it. N@N has it in season 4, but everywhere else lists it way later, I think episode 150 (instead of 58). I just found out this episode was listed in the wrong place, and now it makes SO MUCH more sense to me. On another note of episode being mixed up, did they actually air the 2nd episode before the pilot, is that why its always listed as the second episode? I just think it makes it strange for ordering my episodes, but I keep them in order with the pilot first. |

I have noticed this too, and even posted it on the TVTome site. The Nick at Nite episode guide is the only one on the internet that is perfectly correct. Don't Get Mad, Get Cooley was definitely aired early on. I have it on tape and it airs around other 4th season (I think) episodes.
