The Honeymooners
Oh, I saw that interview with that guy on the Home Theatre Forum. I'm surprised classic 39 episodes are not on The Honeymooners hasn't been released yet, since the lost ones are on DVD from MPI.

I also read in the interview with Sadden (sp? lol) that MTM Show DVD Season One set didn't do as well as expected. Hopefully they'll still release Season Two in March instead of pushing it back like some companies do.

It's about time the put Family Guy out on DVD in the US.

The UK has had Family Guy and Futurama season 1 sets for a while now.

I can't understand why they wouldn't put the animated "Tick" series on video or DVD. That was one of the best animated shows of all time!

What the hell is with all the current shows? People who like classic TV want their shows on DVD too!! "The Shield"? is that still on? Why is everyone making such a big deal over an fX show? "Son of the Beach" too? They need to sit down somewhere for a long time...

None of those shows interest me in the slightest. At least I'll be saving some money. The more shows that get released that I don't watch, the less I'll be spending.
However, if shows like The Love Boat get released, I'll be very happy. Every show has its fans, and I want to see The Love Boat get released on DVD. Don't think it will happen, although I have heard rumors to the effect that it would be.

AMEN! I couldn't agree more! I'm sick and tired of the newer shows getting better treatment than the older shows. But I guess the reason for that is because since the newer shows are still fresh in people's minds it will sell better.

Here's a list of all the shows I'd like to see on DVD:

Valerie/The Hogan Family
ALF
Jem!
Married...With Children
Blossom
Beverly Hills, 90210
Angie
One Day at a Time
Charles In Charge
Silver Spoons
Family Ties
Our House
Alice
Diff'rent Strokes
The Great Space Coaster
The Mommies
Life Goes On
Baby Talk
Who's The Boss?
Full House
Empty Nest
Designing Women
Moonlighting
Nurses
The Facts of Life
Sisters
Roseanne
Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In
The Golden Girls
Mama's Family
Mork & Mindy
Too Close for Comfort
Webster (this would be so cute for my nephews to watch)
SCTV
Perfect Strangers
Growing Pains
Just The Ten of Us
Saved By The Bell
Thirtysomething
Liquid Television
Solid Gold (will probably never happen though because of music rights)
Kate & Allie
WKRP In Cincinnati
Love Boat
Wonder Woman
Charlie's Angels (though I think that will be released in 2003)
Happy Days
Laverne & Shirley
Love, American Style
My Two Dads
Out of This World
Three's Company
Welcome Back, Kotter

i want 20th century fox to release wkrp in cincinnati on dvd in season by season boxsets.
but the music rights make it almost impossible.
i would buy st. elsewhere seasons 2,3 & 4 because they were the best seasons in my opinion.

I agree, they're plenty other shows I could think of, instead of those that are listed, like a wider variety of classic tv, if they are going to provide these sitcoms on DVD, why not have some classic tv on the list. It would be nice to have some more "classics" on DVD.

At least FX airs it, I like to see Melrose Place on DVD or back on TV, the show deserves re-runs.

I am so happy Buffy is on DVD, that show really deserves it. I hope they do season 6 real soon, that was really a good year for Buffy, but a bad one to critics.

Does any one know if Barney Miller is going to be on DVD any time soon. That is the show that I would want.

True, but they always show the same episodes from the last couple seasons. I'd love to see the high school episodes again, which FX hardly ever shows. I'm surprised that FX doesn't air "Melrose Place."

BTW, I forgot to add "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman" to my DVD want list
