Did you know Jack Albertson was in Miracle on 34th street?The original one.He was the guy in the mailroom.Also did you know Jack`s sister was Mabel Albertson?She played Darrin`s mother on Bewitched.

Yes I recognized his voice as the guy in the mailrtoom who decides to send santa's letters to the courthouse(Way to go Jack- I knew you must have beklieved in santa clause!)

But I didn't know that Darrin's mom and Jack were brother and sister that's cool.
Does anyone know if she is stillalive?

BTW, I have tried to find some younger pictures of Jack Albertson, but have had no luck at all! I wonder if he was cute as a younger man...

I found this one on the "Find a Grave" website. Somehow there are two listings for Jack, and this picture accompanies one of them. Doesn't look much younger, but it gives us an idea.

I bet he was handsome but like Freddie he definately looks better with a mustache

Wow!!! Thanks for all the great information and photo of Jack when he was younger. I did notice him in "The Miracle On 34th Street". However, I did not know that Darrin's mom on "Bewitched" was Jack's sister. That is cool. Talent definitely ran in their family.
