Hey all,

I lit a candle for Freddie on Park Avenue at the corner of 18th Street. I had to go behind the advertising agency where I work to a parking area next to the historic Old Town Bar.

And when I lit the candle the sun started shining.

Hope you all are doing the same!

I didn't have matches but I prayed & then they announced Archie Bunker died... That's a shame cuz I liked ALL IN THE FAMILY too... I guess he is up there saying HI to Freddie...

I lit my candle and prayed for Freddie too. I had it lit for one hour. It made me feel good to pray for Freddie on his 47th birthday. I also prayed for his family.

I lit my candle for Freddie and prayed for him. I cried, but also felt a sense of peace and togetherness. Just knowing that all of us, in different regions of the nation, were praying in unity - for the same individual - for the same reasons. It is awesome. I hope Freddie gives himself a pat on the back, because not many can or do inspire such love, devotion and feeling.
One of the greatest measures of a man is the degree to which he is loved. I believe anyone here can see, Freddie is a magnificent man.

I have been praying for Fredie all day and know that he is happy and at peace. He must also be very happy knowing how many of his fans are still remembering him today as they did more than 20 years ago. It is a tribute to a man who brought happiness to so many people and continues to do so even today through reruns, these messaage boards and all of you wonderful people. Happy Birthday, Freddie!!! You are very much loved and missed.I have had a candle burning all day in front of my favorite statue in your memory-rest in peace sweeet angel.

I wasnt able to light a candle but i did pray for Freddie at 12pm. I said several prayers.
