I like the US Dollar coin the best, but of the list I like the quarter with the eagle on it.

Did the US ever fully circulate the 1 dollar coin, or did the government give up and stick with the dollar bill? I haven't been down for a bit of a while.

I have a real solid silver 1 dollar coin from the 1800's sometime...

No, I'm talking about the new one. I have one from the year 2000, but I don't know if people actualy use 'em or not. For any American's sake, I hope the dollar coin doesn't take place of the dollar bill. If you do start using the coin over the bill the government will probably make the next bill in line and turn it into a coin aswell, until everything is coins. Here in Canada we had a 1 dollar bill many years ago, then it changed into the loonie, next, our old 2 dollar bill became the toonie, and from what I hear there is planes for making our 5 dollar bill a coin aswell.

Oh yes...I've heard about the "loonies and toonies". I've actually got some...

But anyways, I don't see many people using the gold one dollar coins the government has come out with. I think most people are saving them because they think they will be worth something one day...? I had about 40 of 'em (my grandfather always gives them to me) and I just traded them in for bills. I honestly don't think they will be worth anything
