January 1st, 2003 on TV Land:
8:30AM E/P
Chico and the Man "Pilot" Chico meets the "the man" and plans to stay and help run the garage.

TV Land loses the rights to the show after February, so this might be one of the last airings. Christmas episode and the pilot could be the last airings, unless an episode airs in Jan or Feb in a Box Set or special.

Well that is great news-I have never in my life seen a CATM episode with Freddie Prinze. My VCR will be ready.

I don't think so. I will have to get out my tapes and check sometime. They are all packed for the move currently. Any other takers for this question?

Oh well I guess I will hear that someday. i think someone said that phrase on the 70's show which made me think they were referring to Chico on CATM.

My heart is breaking... Why oh why can't it be shown on a Friday afternoon so I can see if at my parents house when we go there on Fridays????

I don't know how I am going to be able to see this because... We used to be able to get TVLAND free on our big satellite dish. Then they went to scrambling their signal & we can't get them anymore. In order to get the paid channels you have to have a descrambler for the dish & we don't have one cuz we haven't been able to find the right one cheap enough. So no way to watch TVLAND anymore. ( & I love TVLAND). We could go to my parents house to watch it but they may not want me there at 8:30 am cuz they may be having their friends spending the nite with them New Yrs Eve. I don't know how I am gonna get to watch this... I'm excited it's gonna be shown but heartbroken that I may not get to see it and mad that TVLAND is losing the rights to it.

One question I'd love to know tho is, if they still had the rights to it then why did they take it off? It is odd they'd show this episode & not the New Yrs one...

For those of you who get to see it do pray for those of us who can't. I am gonna be so depressed. I bet my depression meds won't be working New Yrs Day LOL!

Default Woohoo!

Solomon, you are going to love it! Like they have said. He doesn't say the famous "Looking Good!" He does however say " Little dog in the back window with it's head going up and down". My personal favorite is the part where he tells Ed how to drink Tequilla!
