Default Anybody ever notice?

Today I was watching the movie 'A Christmas Story' and I was kind of surprised how it kind of blended into Leave it to Beaver. Ralphie had friends like Beaver. Ralphie even had to wear a pink bunny costume towards the end of the movie. The movie was told from a child's point of view. Even the ending had sort of a Beaver ending where Ralphie's dad buys him a b.b gun even though everybody else told Ralphie that he would shoot his eye out. I thought that was pretty cool. Awesome movie, btw.

lol- You do that too? My mom thinks I'm crazy to watch the same thing back to back to back, but the movie is so great that it's enjoyable watching it over and over again.

I love Christmas Story!!! Forgive me if this question has already been asked/answered, but it's the perfect thread for it. Is Peter Billingsley (Ralphie) indeed Barbara's grandson?

My niece said the same thing to me last year. She can't stand that movie!

You know what I found out the other day when I was watching the movie? My mom actually sat down and watched the movie and she has never seen it all the way through. As many times as I've watched that movie, she's never seen it all the way through! I just couldn't believe it.

How old is your niece?

My niece is 17. So did your mom like the movie or did she think it was stupid?

She liked it. I don't think she likes it as much as I do, so I don't think she'll be watching it with me during the 24 hour straight marathon. I do think she liked it enough to watch it at least a few times every year.

Cool

Another movie similar to Leave it to Beaver is Home Alone. I've noticed that Buzz MaCallister(Kevin's brother) is alot like Eddie Haskell. He would start trouble and not get caught, just like Eddie.
