Today I was watching the movie 'A Christmas Story' and I was kind of surprised how it kind of blended into Leave it to Beaver. Ralphie had friends like Beaver. Ralphie even had to wear a pink bunny costume towards the end of the movie. The movie was told from a child's point of view. Even the ending had sort of a Beaver ending where Ralphie's dad buys him a b.b gun even though everybody else told Ralphie that he would shoot his eye out. I thought that was pretty cool. Awesome movie, btw.

Yeah. You guys are right. There are some similarities between the two. I love that movie too. I can't wait till Christmas day so I can watch it 15 million times in a row!

I love Christmas Story!!! Forgive me if this question has already been asked/answered, but it's the perfect thread for it. Is Peter Billingsley (Ralphie) indeed Barbara's grandson?

Another movie similar to Leave it to Beaver is Home Alone. I've noticed that Buzz MaCallister(Kevin's brother) is alot like Eddie Haskell. He would start trouble and not get caught, just like Eddie.
