Default Thanksgiving Horror Stories

Anything really sucky happen to you tonight/today? I shall tell you my story..I need to vent anyways.

Okay see....my mom hates my aunt. And my aunt hates my mom. So my mom's side of the family (including my aunt) was all going to my uncles house. Except for us. Because my mom "Couldn't stand being in the same room as her and hearing her voice." So then I asked her if she would be mad if I went to my uncle's house with my gramma. She gave me this look like "HELL YES! YOU WILL NOT GO TO THAT HOUSE OF EEEEVVVVVIIIIILLLLLLLL!!!" so I'm like "Forget it...I'll go with you." And she's like "NO! I'll be even madder if you go with us and you dont want to! NO! I DONT WANT YOU TO COME WITH US!!!" and shes all yelling at me. So I'm like fine. I'll go to my uncles..
So I go to my uncles and soon, my aunt (the one my mom hates) comes in. She gives me a biiiig hug and I sat next to her on the couch and looked at pictures. I don't hate her. I think she's cool. So then...the horror began. My cousin Kelly and her husband Mick got there with their evil children Tyler and Tyler (here comes a story within a story. So my cousin had a baby with some guy. She named him tyler. She never married the guy. But she did marry a guy [mick] who had a kid and his name was tyler. So now there's Big Tyler and Little Tyler) and her ADORABLE baby Maddie. Tyler and Tyler were maniacs from the second they got there. First they found my uncle's bell and were ringing it NONSTOP. Then oce that got old, they switched to screaming. And screaming. And wrestling. And screaming. And jumping on the floor. And screaming. Then soon, it was time to eat. So we all established that the lil monsters were sitting at their own table. Lil Tyler's like "AAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMYYYYYYY!!!! YOURE SITTING WITH US!!!!" and I looked at my aunt (different one) and she goes "Uh. No. She's not." So Kelly decides to be a smart one and leaves them in the kitchen all by themselves, while the rest of us are in the dining room. They're screeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaming and ringing the bell and yelling "WAITER!!! GET ME A BEER!!!" (these kids are like 7 and 8 btw) And they kept coming in the dining room and Kelly was yelling at em and Mick kept going in there and watching them. It was bad. But not nearly as bad as what came next......

When we were done eating, Tyler and Tyler begged me to play a game of War with them (card game....lol). So everytime Big Tyler would put a card down he would SLAM it down on the floor...like the whole house would shake. And they both felt the need to...yes....SCREAM every 2 seconds. Finally I yelled. I'm like "TYLER!!!!!!!!! DO YOU REEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAALLY NEED TO SMACK THE FLOOR LIKE THAT?!?!?!?!?!??" and he gave me a look and hit it again. Well, they got tired of that game. Then my aunt told me that my cousin Jack was coming soon. I was like YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWW!!!! Then Lil Tylers' like "AMY DOESNT LIKE ME ANYMORE!!!" oh well. But anyways. For the next....hour or so, all they did was scream, run around the house, scream, jump on Mick, scream, jump in the air really high and land on the floor all hard, scream, scream, and scream.

Then Jack came. He wouldn't talk to me. I think it's partly because our moms hate each other...but my gramma told me that he told her that he "didn't know what to say to me." But yea so he was there.

Then Tyler's begging him to take them downstairs. I chose to stay UPSTAIRS because there just happens to be a drum set down there. I'm sitting on the couch and I hear the drums. Good God. But alas, they came upstairs. And continued their screaming and running.

Finally Kelly came in and started yelling and was like "SIT DOWN AND DONT MOVE!!! YOU HAVE A TIME OUT!!!" and so Lil Tyler came and sat on a chair and Kellys like "NO NO NO!! ON THE FLOOR WHERE EVERYBODY CAN SEE YOU!" So they both sat on the floor with stupid grins on their faces and Lil Tyler's like "HEY EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!" They could not sit still for 5 seconds. They kept going in the kitchen and Kelly would yell at them...then Mick came in. They're supposed to be afraid of Mick...ha. They couldnt sit still! he kept telling them to sit, but they kept laying down. Finally he goes" THATS IT!" and I thought he was gonna smack em and REALLY teach em a lesson....but he starts tickeling them and wrestling with them and gets em all riled up again. I couldn't take it anymore. I knew it was coming...I got a REEEEEEEEAAAAAAALLY RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYY BAD migrane. I like stumbled into the kitchen and got an asprin from my aunt and layed my head down on the kitchen table and my other aunt (Kelly's mom, not Jack's) is like "This is ridiculous! These people aren't used to these stupid animals! LOOK AT AMY FOR CHRISTS SAKE!" and then they all marched their screaming parade into the kitchen and my aunt's yelling at them about how they made me sick and Lil Tyler went off on his "AMY DOESNT LIKE ME ANYMORE!" fit and Big Tyler came over to me and he goes "Your head hurts huh?" and im like "Uh. Yea." and he goes "Try smacking yourself in the side of your head! Make it hurt more!" Thanks. Then he left and my cousin Jenni came over and she offered to take me home when she picked up her boyfriend, but stupid me said no thanks. So smehow they quited down...Big Tyler left....thank you god. And they convinced me to play cards with Lil Tyler and Jack. So everything was going good...then my parents come in. Oh joy. The party can start. I was sitting next to my aunt (hated) on the couch, so my mom sat as far away as possible...So a couple minutes later they decide to play cards and my mom and dad sat in the living room with me and Jack and my gramma comes in and shes like "Sandy (my mom) are you playing?" and shes like "NO! I am not sitting at the same table with that woman!!!" (Right in front of her son, might I add) So basically all she did was come in, sit and pout for a half an hour, and then leave. I coulda gone with her, but I wanted to stay. Lil Tyler was "helping" my aunt play poker and me and Jack were trying to build card houses. He totally wouldn't talk to me. My Aunt kept coming over and tried to get us to communicate...and I was willing to!! I was like rambling on and on about nothing and hes just sitting there!! So finally we played a game of Speed. Wow.

So gramma says we're leaving at 9. It's 9:45 and we're still there..lol. Cuz she was winning. But anyways, my aunt was giving Lil Tyler all the money she won and my grammas like "You should give some of that money to Maddie!" and he goes "She's got 50 dollars!" and shes like "From what?" and he goes "From birth." and everyone started cracking up. OMG it was hilarious. But he thought we were making fun of him, so he ran into the bathroom and cried

*************SO************
To sum it all up....I guess it's not TOO bad....but you cant possibly understand HOW bad those kids were and HOW bad my head hurt....it sucked.

So what about your thanksgiving?

Not this year, but just about every other year since 1997. I Call it the Thanksgiving Curse.

1997: I Fell asleep when Mom was cooking the turkey and ended up eating when i woke up at 10:30 PM after everyone else went to bed.

1998: My throat swelled up and i couldnt swallow anything

1999: My friend came over unexpected and i had to share my turkey. And he ate most of it.

2000: My Mom was in the hospital giving birth to my sister, thats more a blessing than curse, but it was weird having Thanksgiving without my Mom

2001: Me being the genius i am decided to stay up all night the night before Thanksgiving so i wouldnt have to set my alarm to get upo early to watch the parade. After about 10 am it was a repeat of 1997

This year it was finally broken ...well my sister threw up on me earlier...that was pretty gross. But thats nothing compared to the previous years.

My Thanksgiving went okay. I do know about the hellish relatives. Whenever they come over, I really start to wish that I'm a cat and then I could hide under the bed away from all the noise.

Mine was actually ok, except for two minor things....

1.] My aunt Sheila [who's a bitch] asked my mom to see what time the Faith Hill concert was on. So I realised that it was 8 and I was like "Mom, gimme the clicker so I can see if The Osbournes are on" and aunt Sheila SCREAMS "KAITLYN NO ONE WANTS TO WATCH THE OSBOURNES!!!!" and I was like "I was... gonna.... watch it ... downstairs" so I went down there and froze my ass off.

2.] I had major razor burn. That should explain it

Those are definitely Thanksgiving nightmares.........

My worse Thanksgiving was when I cooked mushy rice. It was so embarassing. People were looking at me like Yuck..........

Okay well all day my parents were in a bitchy mood anyways, but when dinner time arrived, everything loosened up...

SO during desert my sister wanted to read a report that she did in school. So right before it, my aunt had done something hysterically funny, and no one could stop laughing. So everytime my sister tried reading, someone laughed. So she tries for the 57th time, and she gets through the 2nd paragraph when my mother and I burst out laughing. Well my dad decides to stand up, SCREAM at me in front of everyone, and then my mother SCREAMS back at him not to yell at me, because she was laughing too. Well he SCREAMS back, and then SHE screams back, and soon they are fighting in front of my grandparents, aunt and uncle... and then she leaves the table crying. I was just sitting there like "...what the **** just happened.."

Ya. So basically, you all know why I hate holidays. Some part of my family is always fighting

Amy, I wasted 10 minutes of my life reading that long post of yours and I want it back!

But I have to admit it was really funny! Makes me thank God that the closest relatives we have from here are 1300 miles away.

It was thanksgiving. the end.

I hate thanksgiving. I hafta eat nasty stuff just cuz some gay pilgrims came here 300 years ago and made friends. I cant wait til i move out and i dont hafta celebrate it. This holiday needs to die.
