Wink Freddie Web Sites

Hey I want to mention something that's been on my mind for some time now. When I started on this little Freddie outing back in January, there was very little on the net about our beloved Freddie. Lot's about his equally famous son, but I was disappointed that I could not find much on Freddie Sr. Well, one by one new sites were popping up and the fans were finding them and an explosion happened. Over night, fans everywhere were creating their own sites. Each tries to be unique and different and I must say I enjoy them very much. I was on the net last night with a friend and she explained something to me that, not being site manager, I was not aware of. The life blood of a site is in it's message board. If a site doesn't have much activity on the message board then it's creator starves for feedback and doesn't know if what they have created is touching anyone! I am as bad as the next person for taking the time to add my comments to a board. Never one for a loss for words, as many of you can attest to by my longwinded posts on this board, I really felt bad that I didn't take the time to let the site creators know how much I enjoyed the site. It is hard work and very time consuming to create and maintain a website, as I am finding out having my own educational website for school. So the next time you visit someone's site to look at the pictures or read the latest installment of a story or even read what other people are saying on the message boards, take the time to comment, too! I know I will from now on. Thank you to my very special friend at freddieprinze.homestead.com for clueing in this clueless person!

Thank you Luckymama58 for this information. I usually do write the site creator to let them know how much I appreciate their work. All of the sites dedicated to Freddie are wonderful and have made me happy.

I enjoy all the sites! So let me thanks them all here! I tri to write at least once on each board. The boards on those sites don't get the daily action like these do. THanks to the webmasters/webmistresses for all their hard work!

I would like to respond to this topic. I would like to start off by saying that I enjoy all the web sites here. The only one I have not visited is Cheryl's as I can not find the page that has the url to it. Please, Cheryl...post it again so I can visit.
Now, I think everyone here and at the other sites knows me well enough by now to know that I am not the kind of person who bites my tongue and says nothing when I feel strongly enough about something. I pretty much speak my mind in a respectable manner. I understand what you are saying Luckymama about the message board being the life's blood of the web site. But the manager of the site has to generate a certain amount of activity in order to get responses. My message board went nowhere for the longest time until I started posting topics and spreading the word. Another thing, I have visited sites and contributed topics and news, and other things and have gotten nothing back in return at my site. It's not that I'm expecting it...but it would be nice. If we all want to feel like family here then we've got to do for each other like family would.

The reason my site hasn't been posted yet is cuz it's ot finished yet. It will take along time to finish due to HOMESTEAD is now only gonna allow ya 3 sites with 3 pages each. Sp I have to work to duplicate my work elsewhere or lose it all. When it's done, I will list it here! Meanwhile the other folks are doing a good job on there sites & will keep you all entertained until mine is done...

Oh eyah, if your site is a MSN site, sadly alot of time the MSN sites won't let me post. I don't know why. I've tried to post & it won't go thru. So if I don't post, you'll know why. Sorry about that...
