TV Stars Who Walked Away From Their Shows: Topher Grace
By season 8 of "That ‘70s Show", one core cast member, Topher Grace, was gone, and he left a void that was impossible to fill. His exit makes sense: Grace’s character, Eric Forman, was the smartest member of the central friend group and seemed destined to head to college.
Still, the writers did their best to keep him on the show for as long as they could. By the end of season 7, Eric had taken a teaching job in Africa, and the series continued on without him for one more (much less loved) season.
