Here's the article mentioning it. I don't know about "The Joey Benson Show" they mention. They must be talking about "The Joey Bishop Show" (1961-1965).

Hulu + Live TV Adds Another New Channel

Hulu + Live TV ($89.99) and YouTubeTV ($82.99) are both on the expensive side. I think YouTubeTV has a few more channels than Hulu + Live TV. There's not much savings compared to cable.

Yeah, Antenna TV is tempting, but it’s not enough to get me to switch from YouTube TV. I’ve tried Hulu Live, and don’t like their interface. The fact that YouTube TV has 4K and gives you the ability to customize your channel order gives it a huge edge.

I’ll just hope Antenna is added to YTTV one day, or Frndly, which I also have.

But I’m going to push back on “not much savings compared to cable.” I’m paying significantly less for YouTube TV than I was for Comcast when I finally decided enough was enough.

That's true. The only thing I really missed about Comcast cable are the regional sports channels. YouTube TV doesn't have them. They also don't have the MLB Network or NHL Network. Cable TV still generally offers many more channels.

Correct. It’s on Hulu + Live TV. TJ listed the cost above.

Yeah. I got MLB.tv so I can watch the Mariners (though I’m blacked out when they play the Angels or Dodgers).

MLB.tv is $149.99 for the full season or $129.99 for a single-team package. What was your monthly Comcast bill?

When you add in Frndly and any other streaming services, there's less savings.

Oh! I should’ve probably mentioned I get MLB.tv free with my T-Mobile plan. That’s a pretty important piece of information to leave out.

Doesn’t Hulu Live also include Hulu, Disney +, and ESPN + whereas YouTube doesn’t?

That’s how I get it too. But it also doesn’t include any games they may throw to Peacock, Apple, Netflix (the Yankees opener was here), wherever.

Yeah, that’s the way it works with the paid version, too.

That seems to be true. Hulu offers some cheaper montly bundles after Thanksgiving. I still prefer YouTube TV's interface. I guess it depends on what channels you prefer to watch as to what is the better value.

I did a free trial for Hulu + Live TV for 3 days for the World Cup. I have actually been able to watch the entire World Cup for free with various free trials.

As a Diamond Xfinity member with Comcast, I'm supposed to get Peacock Premium ($10.99/mo value) included at no extra cost. I've never been able to get it activated.

On Comcast on-demand, whatever program you're trying to access, the menu will claim it's free on Peacock and something else, but when you actually go in an try to watch, they want you to sign up, with no option to just view the program.
