Default Hunter back as series?

"Hunter" is back. Sources say NBC has ordered eight new episodes of the cop drama starring Fred Dryer and Stepfanie Kramer that originally aired on the network from 1984-91. The move comes on the heels of strong ratings for "Hunter: Return to Justice," this month's TV movie from Stu Segall Prods. in association with 20th Century Fox and NBC Studios. NBC also has another "Hunter" made-for planned in February.

So, if it does come back, it will have the same people (Fred Dryer and Stepfanie Kramer) in the key roles? Interesting. I was never too into Hunter, but caught the movie and thought it was pretty good. Too bad TBS dropped the series a few months ago. I'd rather TV Land pick this up than MacGyver (well, we can't change that now, LOL)

I wonder if they are going to do Hunter like they did Columbo, McCloud and McMillian and Wife years ago and rotate it with other shows!!! That would be awesome!!!

I liked Hunter a lot too back in the 80's & so did my grandfather. My grandfather loved Hunter. Fred Dryer & Stephanie Kramer play good together. I remember Garrett Morgan played on there. Garrett was Stanley on the tv show Martin with Martin Lawrence & he played on the Jamie Foxx Show as uncle Junior. I wanted to catch that Hunter movie last month but i missed it. Was it any good? Stephanie is a cutie. How old is she now? I gotta tell my grandfather about Hunter is coming back on tv with new episodes.

Ive never seen this show before (or even heard of it until I found out it was coming to TVLand)....

but this is the coolest thing Ive heard in a long time, a series comes back after something like a 12 year hiatus.

This gives hope.... to others, and maybe even Hunter again.
