1990's Drano Commercials "Go With The Flow" - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I have never figured out why these commercials were such a hit? But beginning in 1996 Drano launched a series of commercials introducing a clever slogan which was "Go With The Flow." The commercials began with music that kind of sounds like The Chantays hit song Pipeline and a guy talking about how Drano gets the job done. I always thought these Drano commercials were weird but with every version that Drano released the commercials became even more clever. These commercials quit airing in 2002 but why Drano came up with these commercials i'll never know

Hi Hawkee! I wish commercials were clever agayn! It seems today they think we are too stupid or will get our feelings hurt if the commercial is too smart or funny.
