Old Spice commercial from 1957 "a rare gem"

I found a rare commercial gem from 1957 and it is an Old Spice commercial "it is unknown if this commercial was one of the first Old Spice commercials" The commercial does not end with the classic The Mariner theme song and classic whistle ending but instead begins with animated characters singing a cute jingle about Old Spice and this commercial is in black and white "I don't know if there's a colorized version of this commercial that exists" But is such a rare commercial gem that few people have never seen before. But I can't figure out why the familiar whistle ending and The Mariner theme song wasn't used for this commercial?
