United States Postal Service Fly Like An Eagle commercials

If you grew up in the 70's you probably listened to The Steve Miller Band a lot and the song you probably had a record of was Fly Like An Eagle. In 1998 United States Postal Service began using Fly Like An Eagle as their anthem/slogan and I don't know why United States Postal Service started to use this iconic Steve Miller song? But it fit the commercials like a glove because after all the mascot of United States Postal Service is an eagle. This slogan was used until 2001 but it was a change from the famous "We Deliver For You" jingle/slogan that was used in the 80's. The idea to use this song probably came from Space Jam after Seal's version of Fly Like An Eagle became a classic in the movie and United States Postal Service should've used Seal's version for the commercials rather than the Steve Miller version
