Question Diana Canova

Did any of you know that "Soap" star Diana Canova who also appeared on CATM recently as Chico's girlfriend, dated Freddie? I was reading this on some website where she mentioned that offhandedly. That's news to me. They couldn't have dated very long. I wonder if there's anyone else famous we hadn't heard about.

I heard that at one time too.
It's been years since I saw the movie based on Freddie's life-I think it was can you hear the laughter. I thought it was weird.
I didn't like it but (please correct me if i'm wrong)didn't that movie make it sound like Della's version of Freddie's death At a party with Diana canova?

She's the one where Ed thought she & Chico were fooling around in the van but they weren't. She told her dad she was in the van with Chico but forgot to tell him they didn't do anything & her dad came to the garage upset at Chico...

Oh yeah! Her name was Patty...

Ed...Diana Canova was the girl who played Patty...the one who's father had a fit cause she was caught by Ed in Chico's van. I remember this only cause she also played on Soap and her character on CATM, Patty, has the same name as me. I got a kick out of hearing Chico say my name. LOL. And it was the very first episode I caught when TV LAND did the marathon.

For some reason she was the gal I found least likely to be a good match for Chico.
I don't know why though. I found fault with all of the girls Chico dated now that I think about it!!!! Am I jealous or WHAT????

I liked patty(Diana) for Chico and then Liz
the nurse who couldn't sing.
I thought she was so funny-a good match that way and Patty seemed like she would have taken good care of Chico.
I thought that other Patty(In Chico packs his bags was rude and obnoxious
I thought Nancy-Morgan and the man was bitter and whiney.

That would be a good question to ask all the Chico fans here women and men. In what order did you feel the ladies were best suited for Chico? I think Nancy, Lisa, Patty, Liz, and Marilyn (was that the one he gave the engagement ring to?) in that
order. Who was the girl he dated in the episode where he got his own apartment for a short time? (There were too many nurses!!)

Her name was Patty also, and again she was a nurse. I would have liked to see him date a teacher! (Prejudiced I guess )

He always seemed to have thing for the nurses. In one CATM episode he tells Ed he went to the hosptial or was going there to watch the Nurses on their lunch break...

Isn't it interesting that Chico had a thing for nurses. I think he may have been trying to find someone who could take care of him while he took care of her. I think that's what Freddie should have looked for in reality. It sure seems to me he found someone who wanted to be taken care of in a very expensive way and it cost him more than he and us his fans could afford to pay.
