UP July Schedule: The Waltons Returns, Mary Tyler Moore and Blue Bloods Exit

Bad news for fans of The Mary Tyler Moore Show: the week of June 29 is its last week on UP. Starting July 6 it is gone with The Waltons returning after a long absence of several years. Thursday, July 2 is actually Mary Tyler Moore's last day from 10AM-noon as they started taking it off on Fridays. This Friday on July 3 it is an all day launch marathon for the return of The Waltons after the morning block of Heartland. Apparently Blue Bloods is already gone after its final UP airings tonight. Extended marathons of lousy, good for nothing The Rookie this Monday-Wednesday and extended marathon of overplayed Hudson and Rex on Thursday. Those two shows also have all day marathons on July 4 and 5. The Mary Tyler Moore Show never once got any extended marathons or PM slots.
