Yeah sometimes I wish there was a whole bunch of stuff I wished I could have accomplished by the time I turned 40. Like have a hit album and appear on VH-1's "Behind the Weirdness"--er, "MUSIC."

But like what's-her-name said, age ain't nothing but a number.

I LOVE my birthday. Others, well.. they can get annoying! LOl. My birthday is my special day, then after that its over. LOl.

I don't mind other people's birthdays but I do mind mine. My mom's tradition is to come in at 5:02 a.m. (The time I was born) and sing happy birthday to me. This has gone on since I was about 3 years old that I can remember, she probably has done it since the day I was born. I can picture myself being 40 and her waking up my husband and kids (if I have any) at that time over the phone. Well anyway Happy Early Birthday to you.

Eh, it's just another day to me. I'm 18 now, and when I turned 18 it did feel kind of weird. Damn, I'm 18 now. I never thought I would reach that age. You ever notice how some years (especially 15 and 16) seems like it'll never end. I feel like I've been 15 for 2 years now! That's what I thought basically everyday when I was 15. lol It's weird.

I like birthdays. Last the cafeteria sang to me (even though they ****ing hate me, its their popular ritual to draw attention to themselves and gain love by singing to people).

I guess some of your birthday wishers expect your typing to have a limp in it or something. I don't know what it is that makes them gasp at your being 40.

Some of my birthdays I've been hohumm about and others I've been excited about. It just depends on what's going on at the time that it rolls around. I always hope to be in a good mood about it.
