I was listening to my copy of Janet Jackson's Control and found a ballad called Funny How Time Flies When You're Having Fun and it's a very lovely ballad that features Janet Jackson speaking French in the intro and the lyrics of the song are also cute and lovely too. Was this song released as a single when Control was a hit album of Janet Jackson in 1986? Because I seem to remember hearing it on the radio sometimes and i'm surprised that this song isn't even on any Janet Jackson greatest hits albums. Was this song one of Janet Jackson's rarest singles?

I often wondered why Funny How Time Flies When You're Having Fun gets left off of Janet Jackson greatest hits albums? Because when Janet Jackson's Control was released in 1986 the hit ballad from that album that was overplayed was Let's Wait Awhile but I never knew that Funny How Time Flies When You're Having Fun was also released as a single in 1987. I can say that Janet Jackson ballads of the 80's were cool and someday they should release an album of Janet Jackson's best ballads and rare songs and this song should be included in this Janet Jackson ballads album if it ever gets released
