The Jets Kool-Aid Koolers commercial from 1987

During the 80's we saw the debuts of teen pop singers such as Debbie Gibson and Tiffany and groups like Menudo New Edition and New Kids On The Block. But one group that became huge since their debut in 1985 was The Jets and when their self-titled debut album came out who would've thought that The Jets would become international superstars. In 1987 The Jets got the chance to appear in a commercial for Kool-Aid Koolers. Kool-Aid Koolers was the Kool-Aid attempt to compete with Hi-C and the commercial features The Jets performing at a concert while clips of them drinking Kool-Aid Koolers are featured while The Jets sing an original song about Kool-Aid Koolers. Based on this commercial's success The Jets became the official spokespeople for Kool-Aid Koolers and were featured on many ads in kids magazines promoting Kool-Aid Koolers. This commercial must've also debuted when The Jets second album Magic was released also in 1987. I didn't even know who The Jets were until I found their debut album in Goodwill and liked their sound and songs but this commercial is a worthy treasure
