Hanks Appears in 'Bonnie's' Dream World

LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - Tom Hanks is making a (brief)
return to network television.

The Oscar-winning actor has agreed to make a guest
appearance on an of ABC's "Life with Bonnie," the Philadelphia
Inquirer reports. He'll play Bonnie's (Bonnie Hunt) ideal
husband in a dream sequence.

Although it's not a ratings smash -- averaging a little under 10
million viewers a week -- "Bonnie" has managed to line up several well-known guest stars, most of whom play guests on
the morning talk show Hunt's character hosts.

David Duchovny has been on the show twice; Jonathan Winters, Kevin Pollak and Martin Mull have also appeared.

In Bonnie's dream sequence, she and Hanks get ready for a dinner with Steven Spielberg and his wife, Kate Capshaw (they won't appear in the episode). Hunt and Hanks have played husband and wife before, in the 1999 movie "The Green Mile."

Hanks' last guest appearance on a network series was in 1995, on an episode of "The Naked Truth."

The "Life with Bonnie" episode featuring Hanks is scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 10.
