Thumbs up Dr. Cox

Dr. Cox is my favorite character on Scrubs. He's sooo funny! I think John McGinley does an excellent job playing him. I hope John wins an Emmy. He deserves it!

I have to agree with you there, Wingsfan.

I like all the characters on this show, but Cox is the best. John McGinley has always been funny in films, and I'm glad he found a character that plays up this twitchy/quirky persona he's shown in some of his movies.

Several episodes back, he delivered this line to some old patient which ended with him saying he "would take her to see a talky,"
and i think I actually wet myself from laughing so hard.

They have to get him an emmy nomination.

To the bank? How will you profit financially if the show is cancelled?

Janice, you should ask TJ to have you moderate this board and shut this individual up.

Ha! I laughed at that, too.

But back to Dr. Cox, he is definitely the best on on this show. John C. McGinley also had me cracking up in Office Space. The part when he says he celebrates Michael Bolton's entire collection is priceless!

Janice, you really crack me up sometimes

I can't believe John wasn't nominated for an Emmy last year. I hope he gets one this year.

I know, I love the way that he, in his ignorance, gives the lessons, and actually does look out for J.D.

I love Dr. Cox! He's so funny (and hot too! But I may be biased, since my English prof. looks a lot like him ) He's probably my favorite character (along with JD, Elliot, and the Todd).

Scrubs is a great show....I've been getting into it the last 6 months months or so. Definitely have to pick up season 1 on dvd.
