Alan Jackson: The Last Show will air as a primetime television event later this year after taping June 27 at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium. The special will celebrate the country star’s “enduring legacy and profound impact on generations of fans and musicians alike as he takes the stage one final time.” |

The touring may be a thing of his past now, but may he be able to keep the music coming.

Is Alan Jackson retiring from country music? Because it seems likely why NBC is airing this concert. Because I remember when Alan Jackson debuted in the 90's he was gonna be as popular as Garth Brooks and the song Here In The Real World was getting tons of airplay on country radio stations. And my uncle used to be a huge Alan Jackson fan and had every album of his. I wonder why Alan Jackson is actually retiring? Is he gonna focus on his family and grandchildren now?
