Post Suicide or Murder

Does anybody remember that article that was found awhile back on the possible link between Freddie's death and the assassination of J.F.K.?
I saved that article and posted it today on my site. I found something very interesting on the article. If you read it you will find the words "repeatedly watched" underlined and highlighted toward the bottom of the article. This is a link to the actual Zapruter film which shows President Kennedy being shot. This is the portion of the film that fascinated Freddie. The film is only about 10 or 15 seconds long but very graphic. If you choose to watch this...please remember that a very depressed young man watched this over and over again. Maybe this will bring about some insight as to Freddie's state of mind and felt it was important to put it on my site. http://communities.msn.com/PrinzeofHearts

I think it was a suicide & not a murder. I think it was a young man who was interested in all sorts of unusual stuff & his deopressed state made him more so...

My shrink friend tells me that depressed people tend to romanticize death...they read about other suicides and murders and fantasize that way...

It's hard to understand, but I believe Freddie was just so drug-induced or whatever that he was fascinated by death.

As much as i would have like to have it rather be a murder i know deep down inside it was really a suicide.

I believe it was suicide as well. I had always thought that the article was a bit off-handed and strange but when I caught sight of the Zapruter snip-it I felt as if I was maybe seeing something that Freddie saw.
Obviously he saw something I didn't if he romantisized it. I saw a sad and tragic event in the course of history. I believe your friend is right Croiter...death was some grand, romantic way of immortalizing himself.

It's a shame but, I believe he was a very depressed man who was going to do it and thought of it for a long time. He would probably watch the JFK film whenever he was really depressed. Fantasizing like someone on the board said.

Yeah thats true about people obessed with murder watching tapes over and over. Anyone remember that one episode of 21 JumpStreet where Johnny Depp's girlfriend gets killed in an armed robbery in side a story and he keeps watching the video tape cause he blames himself cause he didnt save her and thinks he could have saved her life it was only 3.3 seconds for her to get killed.

I guess I have mixed feelings about the whole thing. It seems like suicide, because of the note. But he joked alot too. I don't think he would have pulled the trigger if he hadn't been taking the drugs. The drugs are what helped him pull the trigger. I would never do it myself, but if were me doing that I would have to be heavily sedated, and not know a thing that was going on. Well I guess you get what I mean.

It's odd how he used a gun to end it all which is more painful instead of taking pills which would've been less painful. I wonder if the drugs caused him to choose a more painful way to go. If only he had known that even if Kathy didn't love him anymore there were other women who would love him in a heartbeat & be good to him....

My, my, my! I had never seen that clipping
before of the Kennedy assassination and oh, gee, I can't imagine anyone wanting to end their life like THAT! I can't even imagine what Freddie was thinking when he watched it!
I can see what they mean when they say drugs make a person completely out of control!!!!
What a horrible way go to and oh what a terrible thing to be a witness to!!!!!!

This is my take on this! If Freddie was hell bent on killing himself...he would have taken those pills...Lord knows he had enough of them. But to him, I think the pills were his escape from reality...they were his "Fun" stuff. But the gun...that was clearly his cry for help. The drugs were recreation that turned into a habit but the gun was the cry for help that turned into a lasting mistake.

Im not really sure but i think that the fact his wife wouldnt let him see his son Freddie Jr that hurt him the most and was what pushed him over the edge.

I just think that he was only 9 when JFK was assasinated. Same age as me. It was a traumatic moment in time. For Freddie to watch that grisley scene over and over it tells me that he was probably thinking about it for a long time. For me personally, If I were high there is no way I would watch that! That's the farthest thing I would want to watch. But, Freddie watched it. He must've been thinking about using a gun on himself for a long time. Something inside of himself really hurt and hurted real bad.... Then on top of that he did drugs in order to forget whatever.... A gun is a powerful piece of ammunition.... They say when a man wants to commit suicide they use a gun but, a woman uses pills.
