On my last post about Freddie and della, Della believes it was an accident but Anna states, the note he left makes it confusing I've always thought that too but i just had an idea.
In Maria's book she says when Freddie was calling people for help and dusty called the Dr. Even after being told How Freddie was behaving the Dr. didn't believe he would do himself harm,Maybe Freddie wrote the note so that when help arrived they would realize he was serious? Maybe Freddie, thinking the safety was on, put the gun to his head,so Dusty would keep trying to get help to come and see his note.Since the safety wasn't on he accidently shot himself. I mean if his own Dr. didn't believe he would hurt himself after all the tests and evaluations what was the guy to do? Maybe it was an accident. Pretty far fetched right? |

The Dr. that thought he wouldn't hurt himeslf was the psychiatrist not Dr. A that kept perscribing the meds.
Good point about the change in the will. I guess that's another point for the suicide . I guess I've just been trying to think of anyway that it could be an accident. |

Joy, I agree with your theory. I think that maybe he was crying out for help and wanted them to take him seriously. I think he was fascinated with death and after the drug-induced state and the deep depression, maybe he thought he would live through an attempt since he had someone right there and he had called everyone. I agree that he perhaps thought the safety was on and just going through the motions would be enough to get the doctor, and everyone else up in arms to help him. His friend Jimmie Walker said that Freddie had called everyone before saying that he was so depressed. He made me mad though, because he did not seem sympathetic to Freddie.
Thanks Joy for putting forth a very plausible theory. |

I know there are not too many fans of David Brenner's here...but I think he summed it up best from The E! Hollywood story. It was a bad decision for a moment that lasted a lifetime.
I truly believe that Freddie wanted to be taken seriously...he was the kind to shake people up...and I also believe that when he pulled that trigger he truly thought he would make it..he thought he would pull through and scare a few folks and they would all take him serious. But this is only what I believe from everything I have learned. |
