Hawaii 5-O theme inspired music - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I noticed that the phrasing in the Hawaii episode during the upbeat scenes sounds similar in phrasing to the Hawaii Five-O theme. That theme was a minor key Melody but the music in Brady Bunch sounded major and upbeat.

Do you hear the similarities?

There is a slow dreamy version of the music played when they are getting off of the plane. Then the faster version when they are watching Greg surfing. It starts right when their tour guide who is judging the surfing contest waves the red flag signaling for them to begin.
