i think i have soemthing. I CANNOT concentrate. Most ofthe class i litterally "zone out".. so when everyone starts moving and snaps me out ofit, I feel like its only been 10 minutes, i remember nothing of the class, nor of what I was thinking about.

I have dyslexia. It wasn't even diagnosed till i was almost 23 yrs old. You know, your mom should really take you more seriously and get it checked out if you are having problems in school. It could effect you greatly later in life if you have it and you don't get help for it. My mother never had me tested for any learning disabilities when i was growing up, she always said that the problems I had in school were my own fault because I wasn't concentrating and trying hard enough. A college counselor finally suggested that I be tested and I ended up having to pay quite a bit of money for tutoring to help with the problem. If someone would have had me tested when I was little, it would have been sorted out long ago and would have saved me a great deal of money. Makes me mad whenever I think about it.

I don't have any of that, but I just don't concentrate and I always zone out. I can't really think anymore because I'm a depressed girl walking. It's hard to concentrate when your like this.

I think i might have ADD [so does kelly osbourne!] cuz i have big problems paying attention in school, especially in math and when i hafta read outta a textbook. I always read like, a paragraph and when im done i have no idea what i just read about. I think it's just the stuff that bores me cuz if i'm reading something interesting i can pay attention and i know what im learning. I try hard to pay attention in math but its so boring that i cant help my mind wandering. I used to try to take notes in social studies but i'd always end up writing like the whole chapter.

Yea i completly "zone out" alot...i can just stare at something for 15 mins...and then miss the whole lesson...because u know the important part is when you dont pay attention...losts of times it the bell that gets my attention as well...but its all good cuz one of my teachers told my class that out of a class u can remember 10 minutes of it until u fall asleep...then in 24 hours you remember 5 mins of it and it 48 hours you remember 2.5 mins of it..so that means that the people who actually pays attention forgets them too...sux for them

I didn't have anything like that before. I had my times where I would sit there and not pay attention. That was prob. one of my biggest problems. I just couldn't help it though. If were reading a boring book or something, my mind would wander a bit. If it was something interesting I could pay attention to it.

yep..i haven't been able to concentrate in class. i was always like that...but not this much. i dunno if it's from sleep deprevation or what. but, i'll be in history, the most boring class, write a sentence "the europeans technology advanc...." and then i just stare at the teacher and then i zone out. and it's annoying.
