Nolan Ryan's Kroger commercial

Nolan Ryan is one of baseball's legendary icons and remains one of Major League Baseball's top legends in baseball history. So it may seem that if you are a legendary baseball player that after you retire you don't ride off into the sunset you get to branch out into other hobbies. And what did Nolan Ryan move on to do you might ask yourself? Launching his very own line of steaks. At first it may seem odd that baseball legends have experience with developing their own line of steaks but Nolan Ryan teamed with Kroger to launch Nolan Ryan Texas Style Steaks which debuted with it's own commercial. The commercial talks about the secret recipe Nolan uses to create each steak and how they came to be then the commercial ends. When I saw this commercial I was surprised at how Nolan Ryan created his own line of steaks and I think he is trying to like celebrity chefs Curtis Stone and Gordon Ramsay and try to launch even more Kroger exclusive lines of more Nolan Ryan foods. Though I don't have a Kroger supermarket I think these steaks do have competition with Omaha Steaks. I don't know when this commercial aired but it seemed to be from 2021-22. But as a little girl I always thought Nolan Ryan was cute and he was my first sports star crush and it's hard to believe that he is selling his own steaks now
