ABC Renews "Shifting Gears" for 3rd Season
"Scrubs" & "Shifting Gears" Renewed at ABC
by Nellie Andreeva April 30, 2026 ABC has renewed its remaining comedy series, "Scrubs" and "Shifting Gears", for the 2026-27 season. For the "Scrubs" revival, this counts officially as a second season, for the Tim Allen sitcom, it’s a third season. Shifting Gears has such big stars and such great potential but it is truly a terrible show. I watch it, just like I watch Happy's Place, but I am truly amazed at how terrible both are.

Thanks for the great news! I hope that we get a longer season this time. Why the first two were as short is they were is my only question.
