Default Joanie and Potsie

If "They Call it Potsie Love" had never been created, would people still want Joanie and Potsie to get together?

To me, Fonzie is what everyone wants to be, Richie is kind of what everyone wants her son to be. And Potsie, I think, is what everyone is

IMO...No, I wouldnt. I would never really want them to be together anyways, but that episode made it seem possible if they were to get together when she was older.

Probably not. I don't think the idea would even occur to anyone if Joanie hadn't had a crush on Potsie early on. After all, we don't see many posts with people talking about a Joanie/Ralph pairing...LOL LOL

A good episode but after she grew..She wouldn't like him, It was just a teenage crush. But nonetheless they did make a cute couple..While she was younger.

I would love it if Joanie and Potsie got together. Joanie might (maybe, cross your fingers) make Potsie a bit more intelligent and Potsie might....well, Joanie's perfect or maybe he'd convince her that Jenny was a bad influence. But more than anything, I want to know Richie's reaction. My best friend dated my brother and it was so...HORRIBLE! I went through so many feelings: denial, grief, a sense of betrayal, disgust, more disgust, more betrayal and a lot of anger. I haven't come to terms with it yet and I never will. I even tried to convince their ex's to steal them away (I know, I'm horrible). It just ruins so many moments. ex: I know I will never go to my friend for romantic advice because I don't want to hear details. So I would love to see Richie's reaction to the romance. And Chachi's! But especially Richie's!

True! Remember in, "Fonzie's Spots" there is a line where Joanie says something along the lines of, "There is no way I am going to touch Potsie's stomach!" Which obviously shows there is no longer any chemistry between them.

I was thinking of writing a big dialougue between Fonzie, Joanie, Richie about Fonz and Joanie hooking up and how everyone would react. You're SO right though. That would be hard for Richie seeing this guy who has been his friend date his baby sister. Obviously, not many people would like my idea to put Fonz and Joanie together because so many viewed Joanie and Fonz like family members. (Although, in most romances, the guy who was the close family friend always falls for the girl next door who grew up without him even realizing it.)

Pratically every fan fic I've written has been about Joanie and Fonzie ending up together, and no one's chased me off the boards yet.

Oh, but even if she did say that....sigh, I would have liked to see Joanie/Potsie ep again. If Happy Days was replayed in today's television, Joanie would have a fling with Potsie right before her marriage to Chachi.

I think that would have been fun to watch too! Although, I might have them date earlier on. In the last season, Potsie didn't seem to have that same sparkle in his eye that he carried through the previous years. There was something different about him.

Well, Poor Potsie was sidelined by the last season. He wasn't one of the main characters anymore, he was the funny guy who made a 1 minute appearance in every ep. But I think that no matter what, when people think of Potsie, they think of Richie's best idiotic friend and the funny guy of the show with some dearmboat qualities.
