Talking Singing to the oldies............

You know I love when Freddie sings and dances to the oldies. Like when he sings like the Temptations or the Four tops and breaks into a dance. Doesn't he look cute.... The MAN was so talented. When he does his impressions of a man from England for example or a pimp he just always cracks me up...... He was giving Rich Little a run for his money!

I can tell that he was very much into soul music, I am sure he and Nat listened to the Motown sound, as well as other sounds, I can hear the soulfulness in his voice.

I loved the way Chico/Freddie was dancing to Jose Feleciana's "Light My Fire" in episode 41. You could tell that he was really "feeling the music". I could watch him dance all night.

Cool

In the episode which I think is entitled "Second Thoughts" (Freddie is wearing a yellow coverall that says "Ed's Garbage" on the back), when Chico talks about how he can tune several cars at once and they run in harmony, Freddie begins to sing a soul-type song and do moves like the Temptations or something. The first time I saw and heard that I literally stopped breathing and couldn't breathe again until he was done singing! I wish he had sung more and maybe even made an album! Such a sweet voice!

I love the way Freddie sang too.
I wish he would have sang more on the show.
It would have been cool if he and Ed sang a duet together of beume mucho(the song Ed sang for Aunt Connie) I know it was a love song but they could have sang it together for Connie.
I also love the little song Chico sings for Ed on the episode where Ed thinks he's lost his gift for fixing cares.
you know(along came a man named Chico, tall and good looking not your average freako)
I'll say and the way he looks at Ed when he's singing, I could just melt

He looked so cute playing that guitar. Ed looked at him like he was thinking "You're crazy"........ You can see how much he loved Ed.... That had to be a Freddie song he made up!

What fond memories all of the episodes mentioned bring back! I love to see Freddie dance in that Temptation/Four Tops style. Catcopy18, yes the time with "Light My Fire" was GREAT! One of my other favorites was when Ed was seeing some lady (I'm sorry I can't remember which one) and Chico goes to Ed's office and sings, "Just a Gigolo" he seems to be almost blushing on this one!
JennyLee22, I remember this episode too. It was so cute, the love between these two. He was a sweet and multi-talented man. He obviously had alot of fun singing, dancing and making all of us laugh.
MariposaLKB, I definitely can relate to your not being able to breath just watching him!

Cool

Freddie loved music, so I think he would have owned his own record company.
