Huge Ratings for "The Bachelor 2" Season Finale - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

At 9 p.m. it averaged a 14.3/21 (10.2 in viewers 18-49), 9:30 it averaged a 16.1/24 (11.7 in viewers 18-49).
At 10 p.m. it averaged a 16.1/24 (12.6 in viewers 18-49) and the 10:30 p.m. half hour it was unstoppable at a 18.2/26 (13.4 in viewers 18-49).
(The climactic proposal on "The Bachelor" elevated ABC to 17.6/28 at the 10 p.m. hour, beating NBC's "Law & Order," 12.1/19 in the 10 p.m. hour)

This is a CSI type rating, it should be #1 or #2 for this week overall.

(Before that, 8 p.m. My Wife & Kids did well with a 8.4/13 (5.0 in viewers 18-49), and Geroge Lopez got a 8.3/13 (5.2 in viewers 18-49)).

ABC averaged a 13.7 rating/21 share, handily beating second-place NBC, 10.4/16. CBS, 5.7/9, was third, followed by FOX, 4.7/7. UPN averaged 3.8/5 in the metered markets, edging The WB, 3.7/5.

ABC will air "The Bachlorette" starting this January and after that is over with "The Bachelor 3" will air.

Last night was TERRIBLE TV.

Ed was OK, and I thought the night would've been as average as I had seen in the first hour w/ Ed.

However, The Bachelor ruined everything. I didn't watch it, but the show makes no sense. It's totally dumb. If the guy's so great and handsome, why does he have to reply on ABC to get himself a woman?

The Victoria's Secret Show got rid of Presidio Med for the night...an episode I need to see...which will air next week.

I was thinking that too, but what guy out there wouldn't love to be put up in this huge house with 25 women and get to go on dates with them?

I feel bad for Brooke. Towards the end, I knew he wouldnt pick her, but Brooke seemed so much more nice!

I, a person who dislikes (but doesn't H-A-T-E those survivor-type show) ended up watching it, and felt that it wasn't bad. Hey...it was better than The Bachelor or Victoria's Secret,
